Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Darkora iOS app. Opening the desk means you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy linked from the same screen.
The app
Darkora lets you trim a video or stack stills and export a silent looping GIF. Editing, drafts, history, and favorites stay on your device. There is no account password and no in-app purchase.
Your content
You keep the rights to the clips, photos, and GIFs you create. You are responsible for having the rights to material you import, record, or export. Do not use the app to create or store content that is illegal.
Camera, microphone, and Photos
Camera and microphone access are requested only when you record. A clip can run up to 12 seconds. Microphone audio is for hearing the take while you trim. The exported GIF is silent. Saving to Photos needs permission to add that GIF. Choosing library items uses the system picker and does not require photo-read access.
Local entry
Open the Desk stores a local entry on this device. Leave Studio returns you to the gate and keeps your loops. Shred Badge deletes the local badge, loops, and drafts on this device. Deleting the app also removes that local data.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to break it, or use it in a way that violates the law or someone else’s rights. Features may change between versions.
Disclaimer
The app is provided as is. Export results depend on the source you provide and on the options you choose, including crop, timing, dithering, and High Quality. We do not promise that a GIF will meet a particular size or look.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for lost files, lost drafts, or other damages arising from use of the app. You should keep your own copies of GIFs you care about.
Privacy
How local data is stored is described in the Privacy Policy at https://darkora-legal.vercel.app/privacy-notice-Darkora.html.
Changes
Updated terms will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after the update means you accept the new terms.
